Was it because of that thread on /y/?

Thread on /y/, OC’s, comics, fanart in general from me got made fun of. People would post pictures of my gallery saying “THIS IS ALL SHE EVER FUCKING DRAWS GUYSA FHGAOG OMGF SHE’S SUCH A LOOOSERRRR” or “It’s a shame she draws shit like this. She COULD have potential but she’s wasting her time drawing stupid shit with bad ideas and blah blah she should just give up art.”

Also one of my BIGGEST idols was in that fandom and she was a complete and utter bitch to me, telling me she hated my art/personality all together and weh. Just wasn’t worth it.

I’ll never do that with another fandom again though, fuck’em. But I just don’t want to go too deep back into that one.
